The meeting was called to order by Nancy Jo at 7:30 p.m.

Stephen opened with a prayer

Members volunteered for the following duties:

Liturgist : July 16 – Richard L.

July 23 – Pam Nates

July 30 – Julie V.

Aug. 6 – Carolyn

Communion – Aug. 6 – Larry C. will bring bread

Jan Geist will bring grape juice

Larry C., Jan, Nancy Jo and Jennifer will serve Communion

Minutes for June were approved.

MEMORIAL WALK/GARDEN – After some discussion it was decided that the proposed memorial walk/garden should be on the hillside beneath the nursery.

PEW CARDS – Nancy Jo distributed her design for new pew cards. They were approved unanimously as a working document. There were differing opinions as to which graphics should be on the cards.

POLICY ON IN-CARE RELATIONSHIPS – Richard submitted his document. Carolyn will edit it further and add verbiage regarding 4-way covenants. She will email her additions to Pam and Stephen for review.

SERMONS ON-LINE – Richard volunteered to help get the sermons on-line. He will need help from others when he is unable to be at Sunday service. Deacons will now be in charge of providing this service.

PREACHING SUBSTITUTES –

8/27 Patricia Woods, 9/3 – Eileen Altman, 9/10 – Larry C. & Richard

Nancy Jo will publicize these in the newsletter.
