Minutes of the Skyland Board of Education meeting of Sunday, May 7, 2006

Budget: Our budget for 2006/7, $2450 was submitted -

Adult Education - $0

Sunday School - $450

Youth Group - $1,000

Nursery - $1,000 ( T'Shala as a half-time volunteer)

Nursery: (T'Shala Olivieri) no report

Sunday School: (Patricia Wood) Janis Smith will teach on the 4th Sundays (Thanks, Janis)

Youth Group: Sarah DeFalla -

Easter: (April 16) youth group did a great job making Easter fun for everyone.

Mothers' Day: (May 14) Youth are preparing the service for Mother's Day during their meetings between now and May 14. Members of the congregation have been invited to bring pictures of their mothers to contribute to a display for the event.

Adult Education: Del Mahrle, no report.

Children's Sunday: Patricia and Deacons (June 11th) Lists of students and teachers will be prepared. Julia and Morgan Gautho will be put on the list for Bibles (please correct me if I'm wrong...).

Summer Program Coordinator: Peggy Johnson, backed by Dell Mahrle for first three Sundays -We determined that the summer program will run from June 18th through August 27th. July 2nd and September 3rd will be Family Sundays. I emailed a chart for sign-ups to Peggy.

4th of July: How can we invite others in the community?
