MINUTES: The minutes from the February meeting were distributed.

OLD BUSINESS:

1. KITCHEN REMODEL: Fern Thompson handed out proposed drawings of the storage room and the kitchen. Pippa moved and Maire seconded that Fern be project coordinator. The motion passed. Maire moved/ Pippa seconded that we hire Keith Emmons to draw up blueprints for the project. The trustees voted to hire Keith Emmons. Fern explained why she wanted to move the door three feet and why it was placed where it was on the original drawing. Fern moved/Pippa seconded that the door be moved three feet. It was so approved. A concern was voiced that the kitchen wall with the proposed two new windows in it be may not be strong enough. Fern will consult Keith about a sheer panel for that wall.

2. BUDGET: Maire explained the different requests from the church committees to be considered in the new budget. Most of the leaders have submitted budgets. There are a few people that have not responded with budgets yet. She also explained the next steps in collecting pledges. Gerry is collecting the pledges.

3. PASTORAL RELATIONS: One person will be in charge of pastoral relations.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. MEMORIAL COMMITTEE: We do not yet have a representative for the memorial committee. Maire will find a volunteer.

2. DECORATING COMMITTEE: Joan Law requested that we have a decorating committee. The trustees decided to have a committee as needed and not a standing committee.

3. WORK DAY: April 8th will be our spring work day. Fern will rent a chipper.

4. OFFERING: We discussed the need to ask different people to collect the church offering. Fern or Gene Geist will ask someone before the services.

5. SUNRISE SERVICES: Stephen requested help setting out chairs before the service. Wes Smith, Larry Lopp and Gerry Alonzo volunteered to help.

Next regular meeting will be a 7 P.M. on Thurs., May 11th.

Respectfully submitted,
