Minutes for the April meeting were read and approved

Fern gave the treasurer's report – After giving our gift to Pippa we still have a healthy budget.

Book Discussion on April 10th, Faith Club, went very well and was valuable to those who attended

Birthday for those reaching 90 -- The women's group will essentially do the coffee hour. Committees have been set up for decoration, set-up and clean up. Everyone should bring some finger food.

Gardening tour with Pippa has been rescheduled for May 6th. Meet at the Mtn Bible @9:30 for car pooling to Los Gatos Post Office where we will meet up with Pippa at 10 AM and caravan to the various gardens.

Luncheon in Mtn View May 20th. Carol Greene said to meet at the light rail station in Campbell at 10AM. Details are in the newsletter.

We voted to distribute our funds – $100 each to VCU, Women's Shelter and Rebele Family Shelter, and $200 to Pastor's Discretionary Fund. Jackie will supply the addresses to Fern. We also voted (at the previous meeting) to retain $400 for the treasury, and set aside $200 for needed kitchen items.

Mary Ellen and Linda completed a Kitchen Inventory – We need 2 very large mixing bowls, stainless steel, 1 20 qt. cooking pot with a strainer insert (for draining spaghetti), and 20 corning ware soup bowls to match those we have. Fern or Dorothy will look into purchasing the bowls and will notifiy each other if they are purchased. The other things everyone should be on the look out for and if found and purchased notify Jackie who will send a blast email to let everyone know.

We need to get rid of a lot of unmatched stuff. Three weeks before harvest festival Jackie, Mary Ellen, and Linda will remove things to be offered first at lost and found and then remaining items to be donated to harvest festival.

Jackie and Mary Ellen explained that the leadership of the group in the coming year is to be shared among Jackie, Mary Ellen and Linda. Meeting would continue as before but projects other than the spaghetti dinner and the Women's Retreat would have to be chaired by members. The discussion of this evolving leadership role will continue at the next meeting.
