Summary: Housekeeping tasks were assigned. Plans were made for T'Shala's installing council on April 18. Approval of an asking budget for coming fiscal year. Details The meeting was called to order at 12:05. Stephen opened with a prayer.
The installing ecclesiastical council for T'Shala will be held Sunday, April 18, at 3:30 at First Congregational Church San Jose. Ruth will coordinate the potluck reception, assisted by Jennifer.
Housekeeping: Date Pulpit DOD 3/28 Stephen 4/4 Stephen -early service Yael - 10:30-all deacons to serve as DOD 4/11 Stephen Liturgist-Julie
Communion 4/4 - Julie will bring bread and set up for early service Glenda wil bring bread and set up for 10:30
Maundy Thursday service (April 1) will be 7:30 with soup and bread supper beginning at 6:30. Glenda will write an article for the newsletter asking for soup and set up Whitaker for the meal. Marcia and Yael will be readers for the service.
Upcoming celebrations - Stephen will call Margaretta and Alice to see about May 23 as a possible birthday celebration day. May 30 is a tentative day to celebrate Patricia's graduation from PSR.
Budget - We decided to ask for a total of $3200, allocated as follows:
Seminary student Fund - $1600 Advertising - $ 200 (bags for HF) NCNC - UCC -convention- $ 400 Gifts - $ 400 Pastoral substitutes - $ 600
