Treasurers Report

We are ahead on Income and have fewer disbursements. The year to date Net Total is about $6,156 positive.

New Business:

Kick plate – Larry C has a 42-inch kick plate for the door between the chair storage and Whitaker hall. The door width is around 41 ¾? so the kick plate will be trimmed slightly to fit.

A $200 donation from the Loma Prieta Club is available for ceiling fans in upper Whitaker Hall. After discussion of ceiling fans and exhaust fans it was generally agreed to install at least 2 ceiling fans and investigate the cost of a floor standing exhaust fan. After visiting the hall it appears that 3 ceiling fans may be feasible. Goal is to install them before the Summer Art Camp.

Pledge Update – 43 responses so far, we have reached 85% of the Asking Plan. After some discussion there was general consensus that we would expect to meet the goal based upon last year’s responses and that we should submit the Asking Plan of $130k to the Council.

Budget Meeting is scheduled for May 31 – the budget needs to be posted 2 wks before the meeting.

Next Council Meeting is May 19.

Irrigation Project – Lou had sent a PowerPoint presentation to Larry Cooke, which was distributed at the meeting and discussed. Lou had given us several pipe routing options and control valve options. After discussion it was voted for Option 1 of the pipe routing, and Option 2 of the Control valves and also recommended a sprinkler type valve box at the bell tower to protect the valve there.

Old Business:

Pledge Committee Support - phone calls have been made to members that have not turned in pledge cards yet.
