The meeting was hosted by Fern and was called to order by Jackie at 10:40 a.m.

Nancy Jo gave the devotional reading.

Meeting minutes for January were passed out and read. Nancy Jo moved they be approved and Fern seconded the motion. January minutes were approved.

Sunshine Cards were signed and sent to Paula Leary and Angela Patterson.

Fern submitted the Treasurer’s Report. Spaghetti dinner income was $450.11 with expenses being $242.40 for a profit of $218.11. Account balance at this time is $771.14.

Old Business

• Spaghetti Dinner – Jackie thanked everyone who participated in making the spaghetti dinner a success.

• Retreat – Mary Ellen. Saturday, February 21, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and costs $35. Mary Ellen passed a tablet around for sign ups for the continental breakfast that we provide (yogurt, granola, muffins, coffee cake, etc.) Lunch will be provided. Theme for the retreat is: Enchantment and Hope, The Healing Power of Story.

• Collage Class – Christina Lopp. Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Whitaker Hall from 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and will be $55 per person. Each person should bring a salad or bread.

• Cake Making Class – Linda Heyes. Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Whitaker Hall from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and will be $30 per person. Each person needs to bring her own layer cake (2 - 8�? or 9�? round cakes), stand and spatulas.

• Wine Tasting – Jackie Seymour. Possible dates are May 8th or May 29th. Jackie with check with Gerald at Silver Mountain on dates, how many and costs. We will provide appetizers.

• Paper Toilet Seat Covers – Jackie Seymour. Toilet seat covers will be hung on the wall in the handicap bathroom and will also be placed in the cabinet in the women’s bathroom.

New Business

• Paula Leary – The Leary’s have requested dinners for the month of February (every other day). A calendar is on the bulletin board in Whitaker Hall for members to sign up. Paula has some food restrictions: no butter, no cow’s milk, no wheat, no onions and no spicy food.

• Angela Patterson – Brenda discussed Angela’s chronic health issues because a member was concerned and wondered if the family needed help. Also, Angela’s husband has been laid off. Brenda will call Angela to find out if they need any assistance and how we can help.

Next Meeting will be March 3, 2009 and held at Fern’s house. Mary (cookies), Janis, Nancy Jo and Diane will bring food. Next month’s devotional will be read by Del.
