Highlights of the Council Meeting of Sept 18, 2007

Trustees Meeting attendance:

Brian reported that Bruce V. has decided to resign due to his work schedule.

Lack of quorum for the last 2 meetings was reported to the council.

Council approved a temporary change in the quorum to 4 for October thru Jan 2008.

Chairpersons:

Council is recommending to all committees that the Chairperson for the next year

be chosen from the current year members to improve continuity of the committee.

Treasurer's report:

Pledges are $9148 less than expected, offerings are $1408 less than expected.

Net total: Income minus Disbursements = ($12,483) YTD

Capital improvement fund: $3806 remaining balance from the $17k gift.

E Jackson memorial fund $8751 plus the Pastor Search Fund of $6210 to also be

used for capital improvements as approved previously by the council.

Misc:

Quote for forced air furnace was $8600 for the east wing.
