Summary: RBE needs a new SS Superintendent no later than August for the 2007/2008 year. Youth Group is preparing for Easter and Mothers Day. We continue to seek a part time leader. Nursery is going well. Stephen will begin an Adult Ed. Program.

Details

Sunday School: Patricia has developed a special Lent program that corresponds to sermons and words for children each Sunday. Carol Green's been just wonderful helping add to our program with music to aid in memorizing the Lord's Prayer and the Golden Rule.

We will need a Sunday School Superintendent by the end of summer to 1. recruit and coordinate teachers 2. order curriculum and supplies whtn needed 3. perform teacher training 4. coordinate clean-up of the supply cabinet once each year. 5. offer administrative and inspirational guidance to teachers

Youth: group under the leadership of Kim Gautho with help from parents will coordinate the Easter egg hunt and visit by the Easter bunny on Easter. This involves finding the plastic eggs from last year, purchasing candy and filling and hiding the eggs along with dying eggs if there is time.

Youth: group also has all of Sarah Defalla's reference materials which should prove helpful to Kim and her helpers. They are also in the planning stages for the Mother's Day Service.

Stephen is working with Kim and talking to leaders at San Jose, Almaden Valley, and La Selva Beach congregations in hopes of finding a Youth Leader who could work with our group part time and perhaps our group could visit the meetings of the other churches. Steve will get back with Kim to see if a visit to a youth group would work out and also talk to the prospective part time leader.

Nursery: is going well with Kelly Leary doing paid half-time duty and volunteers staffing for the second and fourth weeks. We have sign-ups for all but April 22nd. See the church calendar online for who is working on which Sundays. We need to get this organized for next year soon.

Stephen will lead an Adult Education series based on a book he wants to share with us.
